ReadSpeaker.com is a new service for website and blog owners, ReadSpeaker provides webReader as a service that one can add to web page or blogs posts and let the visitors listen to it. It is a kinda button that when clicked will read the entire page or a pre-defined part of the content chosen by website/ blogs owners.

This new web reader online speech service by Voice Corp is available as widget/ plugin and Javascript code for website and blog owners. The service is available in English (US/UK), French and Swedish and more will be added in future.

The ReadSpeaker plugins available are for  WordPress (v2.5+), Blogger, TypePad, Ning and Joomla (v1.5). A ‘Listen’ button would be visible on websites when publishers signup for the service and when visitors click the listen button and the latest text content of that page will be read, in both male and female voices.

The service is truly a nice add-on for any web content and it could even fill the gap of dual activity of podcast and text-content from single source, at same URL and without letting user to go to some other page other than your own domain.

Although, similar services are there such as BlogBard (RSS based) and iSpeech but this one could be used within any website/ blog only and no need to direct readers to some other page/ URL but used as widget/ plugin.
