SlideShare a place to publish, share and explore other slides, presentations has released new plugin for PowerPoint 2007. The plugin named as SlidehShare Ribbon lets you search SlideShare, download powerpoint presentations and upload your own presentation without opening a web browser.

One need to have PowerPoint 2007 for Windows and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. Earlier versions of PowerPoint, and PowerPoint for Mac, are not supported yet. Supported versions of Windows are Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or greater and Windows Vista.

With SlideShare ribbon one can access most of the feature from Powerpoint 2007 itself right from managing your existing slide on SlideShare.com to viewing presentation statistics, publishing new ones, viewing contacts all from Powerpoint itself and not your browser.
