Beep is a new Indian mobile startup from NowPos online services, presenting a new way of Advertising currently offering in Hydrabad city only. Beep is the Mobile application development Company which offers advertisers’ Ads directly on mobile screens limited to 18 pixels X 80 pixels and will be priced on the basis of Imressions/ 60 minutes.
To create pretty large user base in order to propagate their mobile services, company is aggressively signing up mobile phones users by offering them free talktime of Rs 100 for Airtel to Airtel ( at present Hyderabad City Only ). One need to download the application of Beep in their mobile handsets and see the Ads. NowPos has tied up with Airtel and offers Rs 100 FREE talktime to Airtel subscribers for downloading the Ad software onto their mobile phones, they will receive an SMS from Airtel confirming talk time update within 4-5 days from registration.
The ad gives all the updates in regards with the news, the products, exclusive discounts, customized offers and last but not the least the subscriber gets the talktime of 100 mins.
Apparently one has too see the success of such concept as Beep in itself is not a user involving content based mobile app and user will bound to forget the annoying ad blocks on their mobile screens. It would have been more effective for advertisers and efficient for mobile users, if it would have been an interesting mobile application for users to involve similar to what others such as Qeep or RockeTalk are offering.
