On its 10th birthday (Sep.23) Google has come up with few more things other than the interesting Google TimeLine through one can see momentous events and updates in Google related History right from 1995 (when Larry meet Sergey) to 2008’s Google’s own Chrome Browser.
Google on its birthday is offering sharing in its own way with its dedicated URL – Project10tothe100.com through which everyone has been invited to share & submit their ideas to Google and then these ideas will shortlisted to 100 ideas and then will be asked to the public (on January 27 2009), to choose 20 semi-finalists. Then an advisory board will select up to 5 final ideas.
Google will give $10 million for selected idea and the last date for submitting ideas is October 20th 2008 and remember the criteria for ideas shortlisting as per google is;
- Reach: How many people would this idea affect?
- Depth: How deeply are people impacted? How urgent is the need?
- Attainability: Can this idea be implemented within a year or two?
- Efficiency: How simple and cost-effective is your idea?
- Longevity:How long will the idea’s impact last?

Why just 5 Ideas ?? ..is this on yearly basis..or just for one time…5 Ideas around the world is too low to work upon…google should carry this Project further on yearly basis

the main ideas about correpition , the government had take strick step on
these thinks ,by this the rich get richier and poor get poor . because the business
mens are not paying their taxes properly . so government ishave to make the high price on eating ,buses ,all daily usefull things.
this is equal to five big projects.

I think you are talking about online applications that are already exist such as Google’s own Lively.com and SecondLife.com, these two top of what you mentioned i.e. artificial world

My idea is the best idea which can solvig both national and world economic crisis.
This idea is noncredit money. No-credit money is the necessary additional quantity of money in circulation (dM) as percentage (k) of existing quantity of money in circulation (M). dM = kM ; k = (supply – demand)/demand ; If non-credit money is emtted according to the cited formula, inflation cannot exist. Also, taxes are annulled for the amount of non-credit money. The consumers pay less and producers get more than today, in order of credit money. All get! Non-credit money is created from the growth of economic rationality. The growth rate of mankind progress is equal to the growth rate of non-credit money. Google must declares non-credt money as the best idea which helps to all mankind. Why Google expects?
