Prachaarthis is Social bookmarking for Indian sites, in Hindi

Categories: Indian Startups
Written By: Vardaan

Prachaarthis.comAn Indian widget Prachaarthis has made for Indian bookmarking sites along with other major bookmarking services, moreover one can also use widgets in Hindi and other Indian regional languages such as Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

The site for the first time used Indian bookmarking services in a bookmarking widget, though just four of them the sites are – Indianpad.com, Humsurfer, Tagza and NewsCola (from Ibibo) along with other global bookmarking services. The widget is similar to popular bookmarking buttons/widgets like Addthis, Addtoany.com or ShareThis.com, difference being none of them have Indian bookmarking services/ websites.

The Prachaar widget/button would definitely prove a viral marketing tool for sites to target Indian audience via Indian bookmarking services/sites in it, though usage of same would be a factor in turn. Moreover, the widget will prove beneficial for the Indian sites offering bookmarking services as well, as it would obviously help them to market their services and grab users to register for their bookmarking services.

One of the reason that other global bookmarking services are much popular instead of being similar to each other in terms of services offered by them are their use in such widgets/ buttons and thats too almost in every blogs and websites and also such buttons or scripts are offered by themselves as well such as Digg, delicious, Stumbleupon or the latest one Yahoo Buzz.

Just stumbled upon your post…nice read…One question though; for the people behind these sites :-

Y most of you runs behind the ideas which is already made popular by someone else….. try to Invent something new…….it doesn’t matter you succeed or not but its well worth trying at least!

And If still you choose the same and why don’t you evolve it further instead of achieving same level
