Google Health launched, Search Doctors in India too

Just within a couple of months when we wrote about Google Health’s sneak peak, the Health product of Google is now finally launched as Google Health beta today, as previously declared the new app let you manipulate your health information as your personal repository for all your health records along with online tools and also let you find/ search doctors in your local area. One can say its a “HIS” (Health Information System) likewise to MIS or DSS in management information system.
The good thing for Indian audience is that they can also search for doctors in their areas though limited to major cities, it does show results in Find Doctors tool for India for else it show the results from nearest major city.
The new health app from Google, indeed provide some new ways to rediscover the ways to support prevention of illness, allergies, diseases through reusing one’s own health records and analyze and use them for one’s own health benefits.
The interesting thing for health freaks within Google health is - Personal health services, inculcating some really interesting tools and services to use. For example a tool like Hearth attack risk calculator, let you know the probability of heart attack based on your input in your Google health profile, other named as MyDailyApple compatible with google health, transfers news, articles and blog content that relevant with your health profile and related to it. Another one - MyMedical Summary do conversion of your paper medical records into electronic format, organizes them on a CD, and allows to upload medical information to Google Health.
