Getmo, a startup launched in middle east conference MECOM 2008 will be offering digital content and entertainment services to Indian subcontinent region and Middle east countries including Africa as well. The startup which is yet to be launched at its full throttle will set to be providing music, movies or games for Mobile phones, personal computers or other digital device players accessible directly to consumers on internet.

The website will set to provide such kind of entertainment content and services to Indian sub-continent region which includes India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia along with Africa and middle east regions such as UAE and other Arabian countries.

The content will be available to online and mobile users at considerably low rates, moreover one can also publish their own content of such media type in order to let the content travel in these areas covering almost 40% of world’s population.

Getmo, a part of Abu Dhabi media company will publish such pieces of entertainment content to be consumed directly by consumers either by their own or by partnerships, as one of the tied-ship announced is with Sony BMG, in which the record label will provide local and Arabic content for the platform, which can be accessed via Personal computers or mobile devices.

The company is yet to release its full version to be used by consumers at its earliest, though the time is unknown.
