MySpace-India Launched, Launch Development site soon in Bangalore

MySpace IndiaToday, News Corporation has officially launched its India centric MySpace.com, one of the biggest social networking portal in the world. The India launch which is part of MySpace expansion in Asia region is just after the Korea launch. India is third Asian center of all three Asian MySpace hub after Japan and Korea.

MySpace, will provide Indian online audience the services that provide edge to its Indian counterpart, that is Music, Videos and medium to showcase their talents, thought on global scale of this online portal. The portal has tied up with SaReGaMa, a music label owned by RPG group and Start TV Channel to offer music services and other entainment stuffs to Indian audience.

Moreover, the portal has also tied up with aspiring bands across three cities namely – Pentragram, Superfuzz, Thermal. The portal is planning to form a 30 music group from these aspiring group people. The portal is also launching few special programs like Campus Starts to target gen-x population of India.

Also for Indian developers its a great news that for the first time in India such a big social networking portal will be putting it Development base in India, to develop customized Application for MySpace through its Open platform interface. The on-site development will soon be launched in none other than Bangalore.
