Google Health’s Sneak Peak

Google this week lets view its new Google Health service, a new app that let manage health information along with online tools and services, it also provide you to import your medical report and search doctors and hospitals, but Indian audience got to wait as one has to only speculate if google include India for search service of health or its just for US users.

Google official blog last week provides screenshots of Google Health Login page and an internal page of google Healthpicture credit - Google official blog App, seems to be home page after user login.

The core part of Google Health service is Personal Health Records (PHRs), which is like profiles of Patients with their health data which is a common thing in Health industry and doctors, google take this as elementary stuff and lets their Health service users to collect, store and manipulate their own PHRs so as to ease the way they handle it every time they need medial service regardless of their geographical location. Google has used GData Protocol for supporting standards-based medical information formats, this protocol has already been used in other Google services.
