Windows Live OneCare 2.0: All-in-one PC Care

Microsoft has unveiled first public release of Windows Live OneCare 2.0 to manage all major PC maintenance as well as security tasks for home PC environment and small-businesses.
This beta 1 of Windows Live OneCare 2.0 addresses some of common problems of those small businesses which do not have onsite or centralised support for their local network and let them to ease them with securing and maintaning number of PCs at workplace.
On the other hand what Yoav Schwartz says in Windows Live OneCare Blog - “Our research has shown that most homes now have approximately 2.5 computers. This means that in addition to securing and maintaining multiple PCs, consumers now need to do the extra work associated with connecting devices and securing networks”. Indeed, as Home PC users are busy tackling with just one PC too.
This online security service has some of the very different features from other security softwares and tools that can inculcate in one, namely;
1. Multiple-PC and home network management as well as printer sharing.
2. Firewall included.
3. Centralized back-up of multiple PCs and restoring.
4. Scan for viruses and spywares.
5. Performance tune-ups.

I am in India & have been using the free trial version of Windows Live One Care. It is very effective & much better than Norton Protection. The problem is that some stupid Poicies at Microsoft have allowed trial marketing India, but, not started sales of this product. After the free trial, the icon has turned red & not getting updates support from Microsoft. Can someone advise at akjauhari1 at hotmail.com (do not spam). Thanks a mil

I have been using the Windows Live OneCare (Free trial) as well which is of 90-days, regarding that updates process its get updated automatically provided you have internet connectivity and about that of icon changing colors in taskbar below which in a way ask for few updates and action from your side which either IE update or few tune-up..still if you have prob..please visit there Help Url - http://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=onecarev2
