Turbolinux Wizpy – Device with a Dash of Web 2.0

WizpyTurbolinux Wizpy is palm sized next generation portable device which is already on sale in Japan, is on sale worldwide with primarily English speaking countries including India.

Wizpy when connected to USB interface, users will be able to boot and run almost any computer in the world straight from device that uses the Turbolinux operating system.

The device has features of an average portable media player plus high performance browser that supports web 2.0 plug-ins, an integrated RSS reader and quick search function.

The device has 1.7 OLED display that supports 256,000 colors with features like OGG, MP3, and AAC files music playing, playing DivX movie files and records voices as MP3 using built-in microphone with other features like still images display, FM radio, memory and e-book functionalities.

The company Turbolinux has partnered with eSys Technologies for the distribution of device in India. Turbolinux Wizpy will be sold for a price of Rs.11,995 (approx). Though if it could be a cellphone as well it would have been talk of Indian cosmopolitan towns and more popular among younger crowd in India.
